Why are there no science books sold in a christian book shop?

Because Christianity and Science conflict- apparently Christians would rather read something written by someone 2000 years ago than believe something that was found out in modern day by groups of very very smart people that can be PROVEN with science. Cause it's SOOO much more plausible that an old man built a boat and got 2 of every animal to save them from a flood, that the entire universe was created in 7 days, that humans aren't evolved from monkeys even though we have solid PROOF that they do, yeah. MUUUUCH more plausible. I mean science has only gotten us so far. The word of god written by someone 2000 years ago is SO much more true. Guess those cures for cancer they're trying to find are useless cause god never mentioned it in the bible.Why are there no science books sold in a christian book shop?

For the same reason they are not sold in a clothing store.
Other than the fact that science isn't all that relevant to religions, it's also because science contradicts/disproves a lot of the stuff christians believe in.
It's a Christian book store, not a Science book store. You wont see porn sold in a kiddies book store.
Because that might start people to think and then they give up religion.
Because people who worship science don't worship God and people who worship God don't worship science. It's not that science is anti-God or that Christians are anti-science. It's just that science has nothing to do with our faith.
Obviously you're not shopping in a very well stocked Christian book store...why not expand your horizons? There are many many very well recognized and prestigious scientists that are Christians and are published.

You didn't think about that one very hard did you? I usually buy my books from a book store, I do on occasion go to a Christian book shop but not often. I do own more books on science than on Christianity. My favorite is a combo of both by Dr. "Fritz" Schaefer is the Graham Perdue Professor of Chemistry and the director of the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry at the University of Georgia. He believes in God by the way.
Because religion is the anti-science .
Maybe they don't have a non-fiction section.
Christians have to problem with science when it is based on fact. It is when it is unproven theory that we have a problem. Evolution is unproven. Where's the missing link? How did life come to be in the first place?. Where did that first cell come from? This crap about random chance flies in the face of facts we do know. I think children should be taught both ways and make up thier own minds. Just one way the way they do now, is wrong.
You must be thinking of a Science book shop. Easy to get confused : 'Science' 'Christian' Don't be embarrassed. Could happen to anyone.
It is because we have no alter call in science class.
Simply because it is a christian book. Even, you hardly will find any science related book in any religious book store.
