Christian book search?

Hey, can anyone recommend a good Christian book for a girl who's trying to repent of sexual sin and walk forward in purity? I've found loads on why you shouldn't have sex before marriage, but none for support for people who want to change.

You do not need a book you just need to forgive yourself and ask God to forgive you.

When God forgives you He also forgets that you did any sin.

Psalm 103 tells us that as far as the East is from the West He will not remember our sins. The fact

is that that East never meets West.

Rejoice because you are forgiven right now. Jesus paid the price for all our sins and sicknesses so we are washed and free in the name of Jesus.

Never allow the devil to tell you otherwise. You are a new creation old things have passed away and all things become new in Jesus Christ.



Get yourself in a good Bible believing church and take your bible and take notes.

All of us have fallen short of the glory of God.

There is not one of us that is better then the other. So do not take any guilt.

Let the church love on you and make you feel good about belonging to Jesus.

You feel guilt for having sex, and are looking for advice from people (whether Jews, Christian, or Muslim) who love killing each other, and imperialism.



My question to you is, are you attempting to climb up the moral ladder, or slide down?

There's the perfect book for somebody in your situation. Check out Every Young Woman's Battle by Shannon Ethridge and Stephen Arterburn. Also, I have loads of respect for Christians who are trying to repent of sexual sin. I've been in that same situation myself, and I know it's not easy. Definitely read this book.
There is no book for repenting for having sex before marriage. Why do you feel you have sinned? You can have sex before marriage because the ideals of western marriage was after the bible. In some cultures sex is the marriage... the consumating of the marriage. This is the exact reason we live in a sexually repressed society... because religion dictates our mind and our bodies.

The Bible is the best book for that because it give you a real reason to do our best not to sin. Proverbs 31 verses 10 to the end of the chapter show the value God put on a righteous woman. When we see hoe valuable you are in God's sight then you will have the encouragement needed to be pure as you put it. Follow His counsel and you will never fail. When you study the Bible you will see what God has in store for us in the very near future and that too is faith strengthening.
What age group? There's a really good series of graphic novels called Serenity, about a girl who moves to a town and she's a real spitfire but she starts hanging out with the Christian kids and they help her kinda turn her life around. I don't know, but I like the series. I think there's four books and they're pretty quick reads (comic books).
I don't know of any specific books on the subject, but you are on the right path. No matter what you may have done, God will honor a contrite heart. 1John 1:9 says: If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.



Ask and receive His forgiveness, and walk forward in purity. He will give you the strength you need.
