Are Jehovahs witnesses allowed to shop at Christian book stores or is it discouraged?

good question never wondered though. but if I were a Jehovah witness and wanted to go on my own or was invited to go I would go. Christian books stores have some really nice things as well as books, and if something caught my eye I wanted to buy it yes I would...thats just the way I am..Are Jehovahs witnesses allowed to shop at Christian book stores or is it discouraged?
What is there to buy?

That would be like fornicating with the kings of the earth.

That would be like tainting your worship.

That would be very discouraging

That would be very boring.

Edit: you dont need a Christian store to buy a King James bible. I bought mine from a Barnes and Noble.
i'm not a JW, but i wish someone would stop me from shopping at their store because of their religious beliefs!!!Are Jehovahs witnesses allowed to shop at Christian book stores or is it discouraged?
roflmao!

WhAt!
I know Jehovah's Wttnesses, and My parents are..some.. but i dont think that they would ever shop at a christian bookstore.. i mean why would they need to ??Are Jehovahs witnesses allowed to shop at Christian book stores or is it discouraged?
I sure hope not....mean hope they wouldnt discourage it.

CHOOSE THE TRINITY CHURCHES
I think there would be a problem with the religion if it discouraged reading books at a Christian book store.

That would tell you something about whether the religion was really Christian.

I know that some books in the Christian book stores aren't accurate. But God leads me to buy Christian books there at times. Or the book for me that I could learn from right then.
I am new %26amp; I have never heard of a problem but as a studying Jehovah's Witnesses having been a Catholic , I personally would not choose to , the sight of crosses %26amp; false Idols in those places make me physically sick .

I see nothing Christian in a Christian shop
Allowed shouldn't even be in your question. We all have free will, so why is everyone always asking "are they allowed".

Second, we believe in the Bible so why would we need to go to a christian book store? We have the most important book, the one we live our lives by, the Holy Bible, which is the only book inspired by God.
nope...all their (gag) truth comes from the watchtower...

they are not allowed to shop any place that might give them truth that is against the watchtower....

can not shop at places like salvation army thrift shop for example.... no "church based" thrift shop or business, they might go over to the enemy....and learn the truth of God...
Yes I have shopped at a christian book store to purchase a King James bible. I made sure Jehovah's name was still in it first.
itsu p to the person

i dont think its ever been mentioned
I would think they'd just stand outside and knock for an hour.

Edit:

Aww, come on! Why am I getting thumbs down? That's funny! Some of you people really need to pull the stick out every once in a while.
I am sure they would be welcome to shop in any store however they would not. They have their own literature. If you do not believe that just open the door to them sometimes.

I tell them "No " and do not accept the little pamplets. I say to them"I love you in Christ but do not believe the way you do. I admire the diligence with which you work. Thank you but no".
What would be the purpose of a JW going to such a store?
