Does the christian bible and the muslim book, share the same old testament?

Kinda like the torah and the bible. Or do they have a whole different old testament?Does the christian bible and the muslim book, share the same old testament?
No, Mohammed took parts of the Old and New Testaments as well as Arabic paganism to make up the Quran..

Mohammed took alot from the old but disregarded many of the commandments.

Muslims today believe the Old and New Testaments have been corrupted, that's their claim to validate the necessity of the Quran.
The holy book of Islam that Muslims read is called the Quran, It is a completely different scripture from the new or old testaments.

The Quran explains that both Moses and Jesus were great prophets that received scripture from God known as Torah and Injeel respectively, but that both were changed by the hand of man and no longer resemble the original revelation sent by God.

The Quran was revealed in Arabic which was the language spoken by Muhammad and his people and has been preserved unchanged its original form thanks to a a promise from God in it that He will protect His last revelation from being changed by man until the end of time.

In fact millions of people across the globe know the Quran word for word and front to back so that no person can intentionally or unintentionally change a single letter in it or even the accent of the revelation.

Hope this helps.Does the christian bible and the muslim book, share the same old testament?
No they don't. Although Muslims claim to accept the Bible they claim that the Jews corrupted it by writing that Isaac was the son who Abraham was going to sacrifice and the one who received the promise from God. They claim that the promise went to Ishmael because he was the only son of Abraham at the time. From that point on it becomes a bit here and a bit there.

In Islam, the Bible is held to reflect true unfolding revelation from God; but revelation which had become corrupted or distorted in its handing down (in Arabic: tahrif); which necessitated the giving of the Qur'an to Muhammed, to correct this deviation.

Specifically, the Qur'an identifies books known as the Tawrat given to Musa (Moses), the Zabur given to Daud (David), and the Injil given to Isa (Jesus) as genuine divine revelations taken from the same Guarded Tablets as the Qur'an itself and brought by true messengers to the Jews and the followers of Abraham. Together with the Qur'an itself, and the now unknown Suhuf Ibrahim ("Scrolls of Abraham"), these make up the kitab, the Islamic holy books. Belief in the divine inspiration of all of these books is one of the fundamental tenets of Islam. However, Islam holds that since all the Books prior to the Quran have been corrupted by human hands, Muslims are to only to get their guidance from the Quran and the authentic teachings of the Prophet Muhammad.
The Bible and Koran are not exactly the same, but they are very similar. It's actually very interesting to compare the two. Pick up a copy of each, both are cheap.Does the christian bible and the muslim book, share the same old testament?
