Why does Stephen King seem to have an Anti-Christian Anti-Military themes to his book?

In "The Mist" he makes Christians look like nutcases and the Army look like a bunch of liars.

In the "Lawn mower man" he makes Catholic priests look abusive. The Priest beating the Lawn mower man with a belt.

In "Silver Bullet", the Werewolf was the Priest.

Among movies. Why does Stephen King seem to have an Anti-Christian Anti-Military themes to his book?
Hmmmm.

I'm a big fan of Stevie and I thought "plot device" for the Army (causing the problem) in "The Mist" - but you have me thinking about his slant on religion in those examples. Can we agree he has lots of "Prayed and got Saved" moments though, too? All through the books? I'm thinking of The Stand, and Cujo and IT, just for a start.

I think it evens out in the long run. I'd like to think so anyhow.
Steve knows the world. He sees things and asks, "what if?"; pushing ordinary life to the most extreme levels of imagination.

He is also a realist who knows human nature. Humans are capable of almost anything. We all know that some priests are abusive and some christians are nut cases. We also know that wars create more horror than a King novel. He is probably more Anti War than anti military.

Stephen creates his stories out of his own experiences, his underlying emotions, beliefs and personal fears, plus a wicked sense of humor and just gives it all that extra push. Why does Stephen King seem to have an Anti-Christian Anti-Military themes to his book?
Oh christ here we go.You guys always get around to books you don't like.I haven't read the Mist but fundamentalist Christians need no help in looking like nutcases.

What's happening, are you folks having a book-burning party planned for the weekend?
"If life teaches us anything, it's that there are enough happy endings in the world, that anyone doubting the existence of God should have his rationality called into serious question."

Stephen King's "IT".Why does Stephen King seem to have an Anti-Christian Anti-Military themes to his book?
there are some christians that do go nutty on us and get carried away.

I think Vietman made a bad impression about the military.
I don't know his reasons for choosing that but please keep in mind there are bad priest out there.

Other than that, just see it as fiction..........well written and entertaining fiction.
