Let Me Be a Woman by Elisabeth Eliot.
In fact, anything by Elisabeth Elliot is amazing.
She's a wonderful Godly woman who has served the Lord to an amazing extent as He called her.

If you're into apologetics then "I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be an Athiest" is good. Not a single sit down and read book but really very good.

Nan Missler (wife to Chuck Missler, a wonderful teacher on eschatology) writes really amazing articles. She has a wonderful series on worship which was really on my heart when I found her.

here is where she posts those.

Also, when for when you're studying www.blueletterbible.org has really amazing resources. Fantastic teaching from amazing Bible teachers and their notes. Everyone who has teaching teaches only straight from the word which is always refreshing. (I can only take so many topical studies).

Staying single is definitely worth the wait. I've never seen anyone not be so amazingly blessed who has been prayerful and patient.
My favorite book of the Bible is Samuel 1 (followed closely by Samuel 2). The faith and obedience of Hannah when she didn't have any Bible to open and read herself daily is such a great reminder to me who has so many resources all the time that daily fellowship and constant fellowship with God is the privilege that it is and one I should never squander.
God bless!

I understand that as a 16 yr old girl in this sinful world of ours, you are looking for ways to stay sexually pure in this immoral world. But I want to share these books with you that don't necessarily speak to that aspect of Christianity but point out how Christians are the light in the dark world and that we can shine the light anywhere we are and that we are all on a mission to love and serve the Lord by loving and serving others. God bless you Little One!

The Diary of Anne Frank (Miep Gies is a Christian and is the lifeline for the entire Frank family!)

The Chronicles of Narnia (makes you fall in love with God more and more)

A Wrinkle in Time trilogy (God is love, love saves all!)

The Hiding Place by Corrie Ten Boom

Any book about the civil rights movements including the following people: Martin Luther king Jr., Ruby Bridges, Great movies about Civil Rights movement with Christian message: Selma Lord Selma and Ruby Bridges

The Musical Les Miserables (all about redemption!)

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is Christian also (faith, sin, temptation, triumph over evil)

The movies: Amazing Grace, End of the Spear, The Hiding PlaceBest Christian Book To Read For.....?
God Bless you indeed! One of my favorite books that I read when I was your age was The Zion Chronicles and The Zion Covenant by Brock and Brodie Thoene. They are AMAZING Christian writers and all of their books are entertaining and will certainly strengthen your walk with God. The ones I listed are set in WWII and are historically accurate but with fictional Characters. I have recommended them to so many of my friends throughout the years and if you are a Christian and love history then you will not be disappointed. Happy New Year!
It's so awesome that you're taking initiative to grow in your relationship with God! I'm 17 and four years ago I read the book Do Hard Things by Alex and Brett Harris. This book challenged me to grow in my relationship with God like nothing ever had before! The book is about how, as Christians, we are called to rise above the low-expectations our culture sets for us as teenagers. This is the time of our lives when we will have the most freedom to do great things!!! Yet, far too often, teenagers simply settle for graduating high school drug-free. This book helped me grow significantly! It challenged me to become an adult and push myself out of my comfort zone! There is also a great Do Hard Things blog and website that is really great! Check it out! :)
