How is it that christian claim to have knowledge off the same book but come out with different conclusion?

Is it God's design to confuse them or are christians confuse because they lack the tools and intellectual honesty to interpret what they read correctly? How is it that christian claim to have knowledge off the same book but come out with different conclusion?
There should only be one interpretation but many applications. The problems come when people make their applications the interpretation.
It's not 100% the same book. The Christians have added on quite a bit to it, and this is where they disagree. Also, a lot of the prophetic material of the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible is NOT cut-and-dry, but rather, open to a lot of interpretation. How is it that christian claim to have knowledge off the same book but come out with different conclusion?
People are self-serving, and each interprets it according to his own wishes and desires. You will also notice that they cherry-pick it, ignoring anything that conflicts with their beliefs. Since there is a lot of contradiction in the Bible, this is easy to do.

Or...perhaps God allowed Satan to cowrite the Bible, and it is just a big test to see what people choose out of it! As an agnostic who sees that the least Christ-like people are usually Christians, that would honestly crack me up.
not only are there misinterpretations :: there have been edits and omissions :: organized religion is against the teaching of Christ :: and it's been the root of much of the confusions surrounding the bibleHow is it that christian claim to have knowledge off the same book but come out with different conclusion?
being christian is about doing whatever you want.

and stick a book up and you get a by.
What was man made, shall be man made again.
Check out the US Constitution, while you're at it, too--they're doing that all kinds with it these days.
