Family Christian Book Store?

I am sixteen and at a time where I need some peace, I know this woman that works at the Family Christian Book Store and was thinking about applying there.

If you have ever worked there, can you tell me what to expect? I don't need a lot of money, just for gas around there area, and dates with my girlfriend about twice a month (her dad won't let her go out much, as with his other daughter).

How much could I be expected in pay? How about hours? What do you think I would do? This doesn't have to be just a summer job, I could work after school as well.

Thank You, and God Bless.Family Christian Book Store?
i work there and i LOVE it.

i started when i was 16,and have been there for a little over a year.

it's a fairly easy job, they're good on working around your schedule,

it's minimum wage, but you get to meet alot of great people, don't have to worry about holding your beliefs back or anything.

i'd definitely say go for it,and Welcome to the FCS family!!Family Christian Book Store?
I used to work there.

Negatives: You won't get much over $8 an hour (if that) and they don't offer you as many hours as you'd like to sometimes get.

Positives: Nice to work in a Christian environment. Also they'll usually work around your schedule.

Feel free to email me if you have more questions about it.Family Christian Book Store?
You're probably looking at minimum wage, first shift (morning to evening) or second shift (afternoon to night), four or five nights per week (Monday through Saturday), 30+ hours per week (maybe $150 to $200 per week, after taxes).
