I am looking for a Christian book I read as a child in the 1970s. I think it was "The Good News".
Inside this book was an image of a painting/illustration, which I think was named "The Rapture" or "Rapture".
The painting depicted the return of Christ, car wrecks and a plane crashing into a skyscraper. Believers of Christ are depicted being "caught up" and headed towards Heaven.
I am looking to obtain a copy of this book as a memento of the foundation of my beliefs.
What is the title and copyright year of this book? What 1970s Christian book was this?
I remember a book like that, the Jesus freaks carted it around for a while.
I found it just now on Amazon.com. Not sure if it's the one you mean.
It's called GNT: Good News For Modern Man New Testament by Zondervan. Have a look and see if that's the one.

Best place that I can think of to make inquiry would be either Chick publications or bible.org.What 1970s Christian book was this?
I remember a popular book.
I think it was The Rapture or Rapture. Can鈥檛 recall who wrote it.
It was the Left Behind book of our day.
Good News for Modern Man was a young adult Bible version popular in the 鈥?0s.

The Good News is a version if the Bible - I remember some of them had pictures - my mom had one. That's all I remember.
