Why would Jew and Christian want the book that has errors instead of the book that doesn't?
1st- the err would be your level of understanding
and interpretation
2nd- the quran describes the biblical antichrist,
so why would I want to be an official dumba$$
why put any faith in mohamed
he did not walk on water
he did not heal the sick
give the blind sight
raise the dead
feed 5000
stop stonings with words
suffer for us
and crucified
and raised from the dead
for US like Jesus did.
All Mohammed did was
marry a little 10 yr old girl.
Now why would I want to
worship a child molester???
You're mad if you think the Qur'an is perfect and doesn't have errors. Take for instance Qur'an 7:80-81. It states that homosexuality is unnatural. Yet, we find homosexuality in nature. Therefore your Qur'an has scientific mistakes and is imperfect.
@ Holly, Calvin: Please explain Matt. 17:15-18. Is epilepsy caused by demons?
Because if Christians accept the Q'uran, they aren't Christians anymore because they will accept that Mohammad was the last prophet, a direct opposite from Christian's belief in Jesus being the last prophet.
If Jews accept Q'uran, that will even be more surprising because Jews don't even believe The Messiah has even come yet!
Maybe your question should have been, "Why don't the largest monotheistic religions , besides Islam, give up their beliefs and convert to Islam?" If you do that however, you'll receive a lot of criticism.
By thew way, I'm not being anti-Islam or anything, but why do you believe Q'uran isn't a book of many errors? Maybe what you believe in is all errors. Don't try to change others' faiths by telling them they believe in "errors."
Why ask questions like this if you're not ready to demonstrate that the Bible actually has errors in it?
(Are you like other atheists, terrified of facts?)
Hitler burned books.
Atheists want to get rid of Bibles altogether.
(Is there a relationship, or is it just a coincidence that bigotry is similar to racism?)
1) Why have Bible's anymore when it has errors?
Name 3? I know of only 2. 1 of those is not include in most bibles. The other is uncertain - that is, there is no way to tell which Scripture is in error.
2) Why isn't Qur'an the official book for Jew %26amp; Christian?
a) It's late date make it much less likely to have a true account of events that happened centuries before the author wrote it.
b) It teaches things contradictory to both Judaism and Christianity
c) In particular, it teaches things that are contrary to Jesus' teachings, known apart from the bible (witnessed by the "early church fathers")
3) Why would Jew and Christian want the book that has errors instead of the book that doesn't?
Well, why would someone want, say, an auto repair manual with 2 mistakes rather than an auto repair manual that does not teach you how to repair automobiles but has no mistakes?
Jim, http://www.bible-reviews.com
LOL.
A book dictated by an illiterate merchant warrior from a vision is more accurate than a history kept by the actual people it happened to. Somehow you think that there would be no errors in that?!
Because the Bible was written by the Inspiration of Man, God didn't write down every word like He did the 10 Commandments that Moses had to recopy.
The errors that are known of are because of:
1. outdated phrases
2. outdated words
3. lack of understanding.
a. How do you translate thoughts or ideas?
b. How do you use words that can mean two completely different things? Like "provoke"?
4. Scribal errors. The use of a dot on top of a slash mark can mean it's 14 instead of 40.
5. Some stories are told using different Time Reckonings.
The Bible has Power, The Bible has Spirit, and The Bible has Life.
Because its not from God.
God isn't about to throw away a costily-purchased salvation and say Jesus didn't die on the cross, for which there are literally 100s of verses stating this is so in the New Testament.
The revelation of fallen angels is intended to take you to their final destination (the Lake of Fire - Revelation 20:15 ... forever). It may be clever, it may be mainly moral, so as to deceive effectively; but if deception it is untrustworthy. Look at mohammed's life - a major sinner, God is a pure God and removes sin from a prophet's walk if the man is a prophet. Mohammed had a child wife he had sexual relations with, took other mens' wives, he killed a number of poets for making fun of him, he engaged in armed robbery for gain, he forced conversions of people into his belief and so on. He never repented however, which would happen if he was in relationship with God.
there isnt one single manmade text that doesnt have some errors and that includes the quran the refusal of these religions to evolve and improve their views with the times will lead to their downfall, there are many religious belief sets which endured much longer than christianity and islam have and their failure to change with the times also ended them

[1] The Bible is not full of errors. It's the Muslims' delusion that it is.
[2] Why should all of us become as credulous and delusional as you?
Have you seen the load crap that is the Qu'ran?
It's nowhere close to being credible.
After all, it was the Recitation of an illiterate moral degenerate who claimed he saw Gabriel who gave him all that.
Do you know how many errors Qu'ran has?
Let's start at the Beginning:
The early Islamic commentator Muhammad ibn Jarir al-Tabari records that when it came time to create Adam, God sent Gabriel (Jibril), then Michael (Mika'il), to fetch clay from the earth; but the earth complained, saying I take refuge in God from you, if you have come to diminish or deform me, so the angels returned empty-handed. Tabari goes on to state that God responded by sending the Angel of Death, who took clay from all regions, hence providing an explanation for the variety of appearances of the different races of mankind.
According to Tabari's account, after receiving the breath of God, Adam remained a dry body for 40 days, then gradually came to life from the head downwards, sneezing when he had finished coming to life, saying All praise be to God, the Lord of all beings[citation needed]. Having been created, Adam, the first man, is described as having been given dominion over all the lower creatures, which he proceeds to name. As one of the people to whom God is said to have spoken to directly, Adam is seen as a prophet in Islam.
Al-Qummi records the opinion that Eden was not entirely earthly, and so, having been sent to earth, Adam and Eve first arrived at mountain peaks outside Mecca; Adam on Safa, and Eve on Marwa. In this Islamic tradition, Adam remained weeping for 40 days, until he repented, at which point God rewarded him by sending down the Kaaba, and teaching him the hajj.
Qu'ran 7:11 Walaqad khalaqnakum thumma sawwarnakum thumma qulna lilmalaikati osjudoo liadama fasajadoo illa ibleesa lam yakun mina alssajideena
It is We Who created you and gave you shape; then We bade the angels bow down to Adam, and they bowed down; not so Iblis; He refused to be of those who bow down.
Lucifer or Satan or Iblis fell from Grace because he refused to bow to Adam?
Now, please tell where is the evidence that this is true and the Torah and Bible are wrong?
Personally, I don't believe either of them.
There are too many for me to go into, here; so, may I suggest that you try Ali Sina at faithfreedom.com or Walid Shoebat?
Both of them are ex-Muslims who are always willing to educate Muslims about all the errors in the Qu'ran.
Have a nice day.
Wow! How tone deaf can you be...no one here is going to accept what you are saying except other Muslims. Right now, with everything that is happening in the Muslim world (in Iran and in Iraq - another car bomb today that killed 50 people in Baghdad), why would anyone want to become a Muslim?
Firstly, the Bible does not contain errors.
Secondly, Christians not only do not use the Koran as a "official" book....we reject it altogether. Just as we do the Book of Mormon and other books claiming to be from God.
No holy book has errors, even if it contradicts itself repeatedly or preaches the extermination of infidels. Thats what makes them dangerous
All religious text have errors in them. The biggest error is that men wrote it. God is in you, not on a piece of paper.
Your question has errors. Grammatical errors.
no it doesnt...for real understanding seek out a minister or get a footnote Bible or better yet repent and pray for understanding.
Because no matter what errors you say the bible has, the Quran has more and more grievous ones.
The bible is difficult to interpret but in the end when interpreted correctly more worthwhile then Islam.
The Qur'an copies over most of the Jewish and Christian errors, and then adds a few of its own.
What errors? Send me an email with the errors and give me a few days (I'm quite busy this summer). I'll disprove them all.
What kind of errors do u mean? like spelling?
Who told u the Quran had no errors?
the quran has errors too, so yeah why not.
one error is as good as another.
"instead of the book that doesn't?"
*sigh...
cause they know they r wrong
It denis that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God Bless Israel.
i havn't found any errors in the Bible. God bless :)
For most its hard to choose between a fire and frying pan.
Th real question is why does an almighty God need anonymous ghost writers to communicate his word through fairy tales full of contradictions, plagiarism, violence, misogyny and more?
