What's a good Christian book?

So, I've always been a "Christian," but I just recently started walking with the Lord for real and having a relationship with Him. Does anyone know any good Christian books that could help me mature in my faith? It can be a devotion book or anything, I don't have a preference.

Thanks so much!

Oh, and I'm 16, by the way. What's a good Christian book?
Books by Melody Carlson are good. Try the Samantha McGregor series [it's a detective/Christian/supernatural], Diary of a Teenaged Girl [good for Christians just...starting out], the True Colors series [they're okay, they get redundant though].

The best ones by her are the singular ones: Looking for Cassandra Jane and Finding Alice.

Finding Alice is my ultimate fave though. :)

You can also try Ted Dekker but his stuff are WAY more darker... and sort of disturbing... o_o

OH and the devotional book "He Loves Me!" is good too. [not by MC or TD though, some other guy]

Have fun reading, yo.

Edit: Haha, the Bible! Duh. How did that slip past me? :)

"Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the Kingdom of God".

This novel's main character, Rose, strives to live this citation throughout her life (1940-1973). She suffers from severe scoliosis and refuses to indulge in self-involvement. Her trust in the Goodness of the Lord helps her to move over and beyond her emotional and physical struggles. Rose broke my heart in the most beautiful and tender way. This is an edifying and intelligent book that should be read prayerfully and not gulped and tossed. It's based on the lives of several Native American women. What's a good Christian book?
