I need a good christian suspense book?

I really like christian, historical fiction suspense. any recommendations?I need a good christian suspense book?
I agree with the other answers that Ted Dekker is a great writer and his books are usually suspenseful, as well (htough not historical). My favorites by him are Blink, The Boneman's Daughter, and Saint (Saint is part of a series, but off the top of my head, I can't remember the name of the series...)

Another good one is Frank Peretti. Prophet, the Oath, and the Visitation are all excellent reads.

Janette Oke writes good Western romances (many of which have been made into movies). They aren't exactly suspense, though.



Frank Peretti writes contemporary fiction, some of which I think is kind of like horror, and others are about spiritual warfare (he shows what's going on "behind the scenes" in the spiritual realm of his story).
