I am in a serious adult relationship with a great guy. We want to connect more spiritually. One way we thought we could do that is read a Christian book together and discuss, etc. (not the bible)

The Shack brings up the question of why God allows things to happen. The question needs to be addressed and a perspective is shown, but The Shack certainly doesn't have the last word on it.
