What is good book to teach the bible to someone not christian?

Im atheist so there is that!



But this year in college im taking a class on history and text of old testament. Therefore i want to prepare myself a little before i go and get a general grasp on this book. Therefore are there any quickguides to "know it"



and no i am not going to sit down and read it. I was thinking of something like " bible for dummies"What is good book to teach the bible to someone not christian?
Check with Nest Entertainment, they have all kinds of books that could help explain things to you, "in a nut shell." And I wouldn't be surprised if there were a book called "bible for dummies!"

Just read scholarly articles. There are plenty of people who study scripture objectively without the corruption of religion.What is good book to teach the bible to someone not christian?
There probably are a bunch of Bible guides.





You can look online at Bible studies for teens or a teen bible. They break down the bible into easier text so anyone can understand, they're ok even for a young adult to read.

There is no substitute
So you want to play for a class that will study a particular book, and you want to prepare yourself for it, but you don't want to read the actual book? I don't get it. Just grab a Bible, and skim through the Old Testament part. It doesn't even make up half of the book.
