I am looking for a Christian marriage advice book that isn't too... yawn inducing. Any suggestions?

I am getting married soon and I feel like I should brush up on my interpersonal skills when it comes to my fiance. I want advice and tips from a book that shares my Christian values, but is realistic and personal. Not boring and detached. Any suggestions??I am looking for a Christian marriage advice book that isn't too... yawn inducing. Any suggestions?

I highly recommend Sacred Marriage by Gary Thomas, Sheet Music by Kevin Leman, and Red Hot Monogamy by The Farrells. I believe that everyone who is married or is getting married should read Sacred Marriage. It is full of stuff that people need to know! Sheet Music has a lot of stuff that you need to know about your sexual relationship, regardless if you are already having sex or not. It starts with being engaged and ends with sex in the later years. Red Hot Monogamy is just full of fun tips to bring on the romance. Hope these help! I'm listing a link below, where you can get all 3.I am looking for a Christian marriage advice book that isn't too... yawn inducing. Any suggestions?
My friend, Stephanie Mayberry, wrote a book "7 Steps to a Godly Marriage." It is anything but boring. She is very personable and hits home on several topics. Her advice is good and solid and rooted in the Bible without sounding preachy. She does quote scripture, especially in the first two steps, but the entire book is awesome.
You can google it, the ISBN is 978-1-4580-7596-3
I'll try to post a link here. It is an ebook so you can load it on your ereader or read in on your computer or print it out.
But it is very good and well written.
I just went to her site and she has a coupon code for 30% off. The code is VR79S.
Hope this helps!
I highly recommend "The Five Love Languages" by Dr. Gary Chapman. You need to know your love languages and you need to know and "speak" your fiance's love languages. You will relate better and understand each other more after reading it.

I give you credit for wanting to do this. God bless your preparation not just for a wedding, but for a lifelong marriage.I am looking for a Christian marriage advice book that isn't too... yawn inducing. Any suggestions?
