Good Christian Book?

I'm in my early 20's and looking for a good Christian book to read and grow with God. Any Suggestions?Good Christian Book?
It's a bit unusual, but try "The Screwtape Letters" by C. S. Lewis. They're written in the form of a series of letters, from Screwtape (a senior demon) to his nephew Wormwood (who is charge of tempting a particular human soul).

As you read, you realize that the things Screwtape describes as separating us from God are things that most of us do everyday without thinking. It's a short read, but a good one.
I absolutely recommend just about anything written by Max Lucado (even his kids' books, like You Are Special -- Kids books aren't necessarily over simplistic, but they are most always shorter reads!).

I especially have found helpful three ov his earliest:

God Came Near

No Wonder They Call Him The Savior

On the Anvil

...especially those first two (GCN %26amp; NWTCHTS).

Happy reading! God bless you in everything!

You're a perfect candidate for John and Stasi Eldridge's Captivating. This book is great.

And if you haven't already...Blue Like Jazz is a must. It helps you connect with God by seeing Christianity through nonchristian perspectives, ranking with C.S Lewis classics like The Screwtape Letters and Mere Christianity.
I read a book called The Chrysalis. It's like the only Christian book I've read besides the Bible. It's about growth. Another, even better than that one, is God On a Harly. If you don't read it, you will be missing out. It's amazing.Good Christian Book?
The Screwtape Letters, Mere Christianity and Surprised by Joy; all by C. S. Lewis. Anything by Stormy Omartian.

If you're into Christian sci-fi, check out Frank Creed with this link: http://elfwood.lysator.liu.se/libr/f/r/f鈥?/a> His novel, which will hit bookstores in June, is posted here in fifteen parts.

Or, if you're more into Christian romance, ask your local Christian bookstore for "Inklings" by Melanie M. Jeschke. It's part of "The Oxford Chronicles" and it blends Oxford history, Christianity, and romance.
go to the local christian book store and ask them. Or you could email martha hadley who works for focus on the family, and ask her what she thinks would be good for you. Just go to http://www.sharinglifetogether.com/ and click contact us. Make sure to give some detail so she knows exactly what you are looking for. Also, Kay Arthr has some good bible study books that guide you through certain verses, break them down and explain them.

either "The Screwtape Letters" by C.S. Lewis for a classic, or "Blue Like Jazz" by Donald Miller for a more modern read, OR "Soul Cravings" by Erwin McManus for an easier book in a devotional-style format. Any of these will help you grow with God, but all in a unique, individual way! Hope these helped!
