Christians If Martin Luther Would have succeeded in removing the book of Revelation from the Bible?

which he did try to do. What effect would that have had on Christian book and tape sales and the various Fundie Pentecostal cultsChristians If Martin Luther Would have succeeded in removing the book of Revelation from the Bible?
No big finish? That would just take ALL the zip out of Christianity. We'd have to focus on boring stuff like helping the poor, healing the sick and stuff like that.
You offer no source. I do know Luther didn't particularly like Revelation because it clearly presents an actual millennial Kingdom. A lot of present day christians hate Revelation for that reason also. Premillennialism is just not loved... as with so many teachings of Scriptture. I believe it was the book of James that Luther had questions about.Christians If Martin Luther Would have succeeded in removing the book of Revelation from the Bible?
Too bad he didn't.

I like what Thomas Jefferson did with the Bible. He took out all of the supernatural stuff, and just left the moral teachings of Jesus, who he saw as a philosopher.
either 1. they wouldn't be selling said tapes or 2. there would be more canons of scripture as folks trying to sell those boks videos and elctures would use revlaiton to do soChristians If Martin Luther Would have succeeded in removing the book of Revelation from the Bible?
Both sales and delusions would be WAY down.
