Christian book recommendation?

My male friend is 27 and single. I want to give him a book as a gift. What book do you recommend that shows a man how to put God first and become a husband that leads his wife? (basically a book that pepares him for marriage) He is a great guy. I see him searching for more so I want to help him. I know of plenty of books for women but not many for men. Any suggestions?Christian book recommendation?
The God Delusion
The first book I would recommend for anybody to read is a book by Gary Chapman, The Five Love languages. This is about how to show love to someone else.

The King James Bible is a good place to start as well.

There are two books you would definitely find at a christian bookstore. One is made for woman and the other is for men. I don't know the names of them but they are candy striped and have man and woman in the title. The authors took information from large studies to come to their conclusions.Christian book recommendation?
Well, its not a book but it matches your description. Give him the movie "fireproof" its about a firefighter and his wife having marital problems. The guy tries to get her to love him again. His dad gave him a list of things to do for like 40 days or something. Like one was give her flowers one day and they keep getting more thoughtful with each day. It was a really powerful movie. My church watched it and a bunch of the men started crying!!! Its a great movie and gives a lot of good advice.
The Fourth Dawn by Bodie Thoene. (amazon has it) It is the story of Mary and Joseph. I really began to have great respect for Joseph when I read it. Imagine being step dad to the Son of God. It demonstrates Joseph's great love for Mary. You'll love it and so will your friend.

Les Morgenstern's book "What Every Man Should Know About Women". is one of the greatest books out on the subject.....can be bought at any good book store.
I would try to find something by John MacArthur. Look on www.gty.org
I've never read it but I've heard it's good - Wild at Heart by John Eldridge
