Anyone else give up trying to rationalize the Christian God or his book?

Do you ever give up trying to rationalize stuff that makes no sense?Anyone else give up trying to rationalize the Christian God or his book?
Read this... http://www.exposingchristianity.com/

The christian religion is a LIE
The Bible makes sense to me. It rings true.Anyone else give up trying to rationalize the Christian God or his book?
It's metaphysical mythology that can be logically explained, however if you're ingrained with Christian beliefs it becomes much harder to understand it. One must have some knowledge of some other obscure subjects besides churchianity in order to understand it better as well such as astrology, ancient astronomy, psychology, shamanism, esoteric symbolism, alchemy, greek and egyptian mythology, and then you can start figuring out the metaphorical mystical mystery that Christians don't understand.
I give up.

Gimme a break.Anyone else give up trying to rationalize the Christian God or his book?
Don't give up. Ask Jesus for understanding or look at study guides. Jesus can guide you. First make sure you are saved. Jesus is God and the only way into heaven. Please pray a sincere prayer with all of your heart admitting to Jesus you are a sinner. Have full faith that His blood pays off all of your sins and accept His gift of everlasting life. I pray that God blesses you with peace. Amen.
I don't need to rationalize it - I have a different approach - I study it from a historical perspective and not a religious one. Trust me on this one - it gets a LOT more interesting that way - when you understand the history "behind" the Bible.
it makes no sense because you don't understand how wonderful God is and what a great sacrifice He made when He sent Jesus to die for your sins. To an Unsaved person, trying to correctly understand the Word of God is like someone trying to understand Advanced Algebra without any previous Math training. My sources can get you started if you care to read them. Thanks for the question and have a Wonderful Day!
Of course. I don't try to rationalize or understand it any more than I try to rationalize or understand Love. Of COURSE it doesn't make sense. God is beyond our senses. He is infinite and eternal, and your puny little brain can NEVER comprehend or understand God. Sometimes, you just have to accept by faith what can not be proven logically - such as love, rainbows, or even your intelligence. I certainly can't see a test tube of your intelligence. But I don't doubt that you actually have intelligence. But based on YOUR methodology of accepting things, I would be forced to conclude that you actually don't have any intelligence. Aren't you glad that not everybody is as skeptical as you?
reason is the crack of the masses
My faith stands above your irrationality.
God, Christianity, and the Bible make much more sense than atheism.

Can atheism be logically defended? The Christianity can.

Is there any basis in fact that supports atheism? The Bible has it.

Can you use atheism to properly explain the existence of the universe? God is a good explanation.

Do you ever give up trying to rationalize a philosophy that makes no sense?
It all makes sense. Beginning middle and end.
No sense in trying.

As He says :

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts' [Isaiah 55:8,9].
I've stopped trying to understand WHY people believe in gods, or silly books like the bible. It just doesn't make sense.
Love the Bible. It is the realest book ever. Let God be true and every man a lie.
Bible Compared to Quran

http://www.bibleislam.com/bible_vs_quran…
Makes perfect sense to me.

I've never seen anything in the world more logical that the Bible.

You cannot see because you declare yourself to be wise and therefore you think your finite wisdom is greater than the wisdom of God. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things that are mighty. The foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

"I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes." - Jesus of Nazareth.
same....

I dont know, like come on...a person living for 900 years? And the bible contradicts itself soooooo muchhhh and christians always come up with like an excuse when people find a flaw in the bible.

I am a christian myself and i believe and love god. However, i dont think ill be able to understand and believe the things said in the bible. Its just a question, but how do we know these events actually exist? how do we know that the person who wrote the bible wasn't schizophrenic or something?

i think i am a bad christian...doubting the bible :/
No disrespect to anybody, but I don't even believe in this. And yes, there is a way to logically explain nearly everything. Besides, even if there isn't a logical explanation, I'm not just going to give up and say "there's no way to explain this so it must be from god!". I think it's convenient for anybody to just blindly believe in something, it doesn't take a person with alot of brains to do that.

And why does there have to be a god. Why does everybody believe that the only reason that we exist is because some god created us? How do we even know that gods exist? Is there even such thing as a god, or is it just another figment of our imagination that has grown so much over time that it is now this big religoun?
