What is your favorite Christian book besides the Bible, and why is it your favorite?

Yes I've read the archives, but I thought I'd see if I could pick up on any new opinions.

I've always enjoyed Chronicles of Narnia myself, since I have a love of fantasy. What is your favorite Christian book besides the Bible, and why is it your favorite?
systematic theology by Wayne Grudem
Billy Graham's "Peace with God" was wonderful.

great for the beginning Christian...new believer, or one searching for Christ. What is your favorite Christian book besides the Bible, and why is it your favorite?
Harry Potter is pretty good
The whole Chronicles of Narnia series, I liked the metaphoric imagery. Possibly on of the best fantasy series ever. What is your favorite Christian book besides the Bible, and why is it your favorite?
Beware the worldly works of men. Flee from witchcraft. It is a trap all too common in this day and age that we embrace exciting things of the world, things of fantasy which take us away from the reality of Yahweh. God created THIS world for His purposes therefore be careful lest you despise His own creation in favor of a creation of men.

As for Christian works, I would suggest the City of God by Augustine or the Ecclesiastical History of Eusebius.

May the Lord bless you and keep you always, sister.
Even though I am a Fundamentalist Christian, I have to go with the Roman Catholic Catechism. Explains nearly all of the doctrines held to be true by "mainstream" Christians - with supporting Scriptures. To the best of my knowledge, no other sect has such a detailed yet easy-to-read explanation of Christian beliefs.

P.S. Another really good Christian fantasy - much more obviously Christian than Narnia - is the Deryni Chronicles. I especially like the Camber of Culdi trilogy.
