What would you want in a Christian Fiction book?

For those who like to read Christian Fiction, or don't currently but would like to find some they enjoyed, what do you look for? What bugs you about the current authors in this genre, and/or what do you like about them? I really want to know what people look for, sort of a survey of the market. Thanks! What would you want in a Christian Fiction book?
Speaking as someone who is not a fan of the genre (but has at least tried), I'd like to see characters who speak less and do more. The preachy or didactic nature of the genre makes for some ridiculous and unrealistic scenes where the action stops and everyone just talks or conversions take place. Real life doesn't fall out this way. Show the benefits of a Christian life by showing characters whose lives are better for living it and not just talking about it.

I would also like to see less politics and extremism in Christian fiction. The Left Behind series' portrayal of Jews, Catholics, and women in general turned me away from the genre for a long time. What would you want in a Christian Fiction book?
I love Christian fiction, but the problem with it is; it's generally all the same. I like suspense so I like authors like Ted Dekker who can make a unique Christian fiction story without sounding just like every other Christian author on the market. What would you want in a Christian Fiction book?
the whole Idea of Christian fiction, thre Lord works in peoples lives is unique ways, and to make up a story, is to make up what god would do in any situation, and this is a problem with true believers, maybe so called Christian would enjoy them, but a Believer in Christ would have a hard time reading some persons idea of how Christ would work in someones life, and using bible verses through out just doesn't cut it. It's just to personal of a topic, and truth is stranger than fiction, I have no use for it, and would tell someone interested in writing Christian books, to stick with true stories, there are thousands waiting to be told, and through them they give hope to others, fictions inspires no spiritual hope, it just a nice possibilities story of sorts. you asked me, and thats what I think in the subject. I was debating for a few weeks whether to write a fictious story of a true event to flesh it out for a historical book Idea I have had for some time, but I've decided to go with the truth, and let god be seen through the unfolding events in results, than try and weave a more interesting to read or exciting story. nuff said.,
