The Texas B of Ed has warned publishers against "anti-Christian" books; should I make sure to extol in my book?

Cross Burnings

Picketing soldiers' funerals

and Child Molesting?

Are these things pro-Christian enough for the Board of Education to accept a book I write about history? The Texas B of Ed has warned publishers against "anti-Christian" books; should I make sure to extol in my book?
The problem with the Texas textbook debates is that neither side seems to support objective history. The Cons want to force-feed Christianity into every possible part of history (on the 6th day, God created AMERICA!) and the Libs want to put as much focus as possible on the "underdogs" of world history (Oppression, violence and slavery didn't exist until White Americans invented disease.)
maybe you could write something on Islam or Satanism...no one in the PS system would object and you'd feel more comfortable.

I think as long as the proper context is supplied you should be free to chronicle events that put Christians or members of any other religion in a less than positive light.

For instance you can cover the Salem Witch trials and compare them to present day stoning of young women in the name of Islamic law for accusations of adultery after they have been raped but are unable to provide four male witnesses in their defense. (see Amnesty International link below: "Somalia: Girl stoned was a child of 13")

Or the child molestation you refer to as long as you mention the continued sanctioning of the marrying of 8 year old girls to old men and genital mutilation that continues to this day in some parts of the Islamic world. (see UNICEF link below)

The crazy extremest that picket soldiers funerals or murder abortion doctors can be compared to the Muslims that execute gays, the suicide bombers that proclaim "Allah Akbar!" before blowing themselves up and murdering innocent men women and children, and the extremist that flew planes into buildings on 9/11 indiscriminately murdering thousands of people that were peacefully going about their everyday lives. (no link necessary)

You might also mention the percentage of each religions followers and leaders that condemn these atrocities and what percentage condone, defend, or ignore them. (see PEW poll linked below)

The Cultural Relativism that schools are drumming into our students in the name of political correctness today is destructive at the most basic level to our societies moral and ethical development. From a rational perspective and aside from any religious considerations, it is truly the embodiment of evil to teach our children that there is no right or wrong, good or evil or even true or false. (See this link for info on Relativism: http://www.allaboutphilosophy.org/cultur鈥?/a> )
have you personally seen the changes to the books texas wants?with your own eyes?or are you just following the extreme lefts propaganda?

you do realize everything put in the books are proven facts.

you do realize the extreme left is mad about not being able to insert false or misleading propaganda/agendas into the books.

please before you fall for their BS do some Research on your own at your local library or the library of congress. The Texas B of Ed has warned publishers against "anti-Christian" books; should I make sure to extol in my book?
Texas has too much say in what kids in Seattle and Maine learn. If they want that kind of twisted history, which overlooks uncomfortable truths then let them dumb down their own kids and maybe the rest of the nation shouldn't buy books designed with the Texas Baptist in mind.
gee Wally...

why is it OKAY to

BASH

CHRISTIANITY?

ANSWER - maybe you could write something on Islam or Satanism...no one in the PS system would object and you'd feel more comfortable...
Funny, you try to make a statement against bigotry, but in the process expose yourself as a bigot.
Thumbs up for Brutus, and I'll add that, given your writing skills that we can see here, I'd recommend you pursue a different career path than one as a writer.
LOL......Hypocrite much?
so all christians molest kid's and burn crosses and picket funerals? you are a pinhead
Nice attempt at trolling.
