What type of christian book genre is this?

I asked this a while ago, but no one is really answering, ten points best response.



I am writing a book. I orignally thought of it as christian romance...

but now I am not sure.



Its written as a memory of a fictional character based off of myself and people around me. It deals with christian maturity and a good part of the fictional biography is romance.



What would you classify it asWhat type of christian book genre is this?
I doubt if any publisher would go to that length.

If it is fictional and deals primarily with romance then it is a Christian Romance.



Remember most Christian fiction is governed by CBA standards. To me that is sad because it exercises too much control and restricts writing so that it has to be cheesy and unrealistic. That's just me though.What type of christian book genre is this?

It is Christian Romance or Christian Relationsip. God has used many to write fiction to showcase His truths. Andrew Greeley is a notable example as are Beverly Lewis and Jannette Oke.



edit: There is a category Religion and Spirituality that publishers use. We don't know whether there is a fiction category under that or not.
