Can anyone recommend a christian based sex education book for kids?

I'm homeschooling my son in 7th grade next year and I am looking for a good christian-based sex education bookCan anyone recommend a christian based sex education book for kids?
if you follow the A Beka curriculum--well i did--there's an elective that teaches on sex education and it's Christian based. i disagree with Jenni because one ought to know that sex is honorable After marriage and one also ought to know about the consequences of unsafe sex.

well, even if you aren't using A Beka, you could buy the book for your child, though i'm pretty sure it's actually for the higher grades... like grades 9-12... maybe check with your present curriculum and see what books they offer for sex education?
He's already in 7th grade and you're just getting around to the facts of lfe?! Chances are, he already knows.

Good luck with that. Can anyone recommend a christian based sex education book for kids?
My son just read _Preparing for Adolescence_ by Dr. James Dobson. He loved it. Dennis and Barbara Rainey also have one titled, _So You Want to be a Teenager?_.
I have no recommendation on "sex" education.

With our sons we focus on character education first.

Some good book choices are:

Every Young Mans Battle

ages 14 and up.

by: Stephen Arterburn, Fred Stoeker %26amp; Mike Yorkey

It focus is on the temptation young men face everyday, and how to achieve sexual purity.

It does come with a workbook if you would like to make it into a study.

Tribe: A Warrior's Heart

Ages 12 to 16.

by: Michael Ross%26amp; Manfred Koehler

Sex is not the problem lust is.

(PG rated) Ages 12 and up.

By Joshua Harris.

I Kissed Dating Goodbey

Ages 12 and up.

by: Joshua Harris.

This also comes in VHS or DVD.

Try the library and see if they carry these, or use inter librar loans to see if you think the books are worth buying.

If you decide to buy we ordered them from:

I just ordered the series by Stan and Brenna Jones, "What's the Big Deal "(ages 8-11) and "Facing the Facts: The Truth About Sex and You" (ages 11-14). This series starts at age 3-5, with the first book "The Story of Me", and has four books to the series. It got great reviews and is definitely Christian based. Gives the facts, and why God designed sex for marriage. My daughter, age 11, and I are starting book 3 now. It is hard to find something on this subject, but this is good.
I'm pretty sure you won't find one. The Christian belief with regards to sex is abstinence until marriage. This creates a pretty small book in and of itself. Not to say they aren't out there, but the ones that are in print are generally chalked full of misinformation that is meant to scare kids into not having sex as opposed to giving them solid, factual information.
