Could you suggest, please, the name of an outstanding Christian book to give to an atheist?

He is a very good friend and he wants to discuss with me - a Christian - the subject of the existence of GOD.

He has asked for some literature on the subject.

He has read ORTHODOXY (G. K. Chesterton) already and he wants more!

Thank you!

PS: He has a Bible already!

Dur, why did you ask the same question twice. Are you a 'special' person?

The Qur'an. So he can see that there are other faiths out there that flatly contradict Christianity but believe just as wholeheartedly that they have the truth.
Any objective book that spells out the agenda of religion.

Like such a book even exists?
"I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist" by Norman Geisler and Frank Turek is outstanding. It costs less than $11 at amazon.com. You might want a copy for yourself.
There is a God, by Anthony Flew. He was an atheist who spent his entire life trying to convince people there wasn't a god. At 80 years old he converted.
Here's a heavy hitter--- "A Divine Revelation of Hell" by Mary K. Baxter

Not sure if your friend is ready for something so heavy but many many people have turned to Jesus after reading it. Sounds like your friend is getting pursued by the Lord---amazing awesomeness!!! Shalom! Jesus is KING!
NEW YORK TIMES. HE CAN SEE ALL OF "gods" PEOPLE AND HANDY WORK 1ST HAND.

The book itself I found to be quite deep, scientifically speaking—But, not too hard to understand, and, scriptural nonetheless! (;
I have a book by Norman Geisler %26amp; Thomas Howe titled "When Critics Ask." It's a handbook to Bible difficulties. I found it extremely helpful in answering some of my questions to difficult passages in the Bible. Might not be the right kind of book for your friend. Not sure.

Additionally - I am a former Atheist. I became a Christian or as I identify myself "a follower of Christ" because many Christan Churches aren't teaching Christ's teachings. The way I came to Christ was because I almost died. Didn't flat line, so I can't say it was a NDE. But what it was changed me forever. In the limbo between life/death, both Satan and Christ was there for me. I can assure both are very real. Just throwing that out. There are many like me out there. We may or may not be a good source of info.
I'd ask him what kind of book he'd like. Does he want to know more

about the bible, or more about people's experiences in the bible,

or miracles in the bible or people's experiences in the bible,

or more about Jesus Christ? Does he want to know more about

what prayer does? And on it goes. Then I'd go online to see

what I thought, there's so much. I'd keep in mind what sort

of person he was also....liberal views, more strict etc.

I'd get him things that lined up with this because I find

it hard to read things way off from my own ways.
