Dear Storge,
Thank you for asking and God bless you as well.
In addition to reading the Bible every day, I'm currently reading and thoroughly enjoying The Knowledge of the Holy by A.W. Tozer. If you haven't read any of Tozer's books yet I highly recommend him.

As regards anything besides these, my son, take a warning: To the making of many books there is no end, and much devotion [to them] is wearisome to the flesh. The conclusion of the matter, everything having been heard, is: Fear the [true] God and keep his commandments. For this is the whole [obligation] of man. For the [true] God himself will bring every sort of work into the judgment in relation to every hidden thing, as to whether it is good or bad.

Well, I am not currently reading a Christian book. Hoowever, Karen Kingsbury writes the best books I have ever read. They are Awesome. And they are religious and very inspirational. They help me out a lot. (Oh, and make me cry.)
"A Thousand Tomorrows" and "Just Beyond the Clouds" are my favorites!

"The final act" Author: Chuck Smith
I am reading the Bible and "The Case for a Creator" by Lee Strobel, which is excellent.
I am saving your question so that I have a reference for more good reads.
How about adding an edit and tell us what you are reading?
Thanks for asking.
Hi.
I just finished reading, "First Century Faith" (Inter Varsity Press) by FF Bruce, on Sunday night. It was a little over 100 pgs long, and I got through it in a weekend. Most informative and enjoyable. I've also read a Tyndale Commentary on Romans and, "The New Testament Documents - Are They Reliable?" (both IVP) by the same author.
His writing seems to strike the right balance between faith and scholarship, and, with the most recent book, challenged me to think more deeply about the Kingdom, and Kingdom life and work, as all good Christian books should.
I highly recommend it.
Blessings.
