What Is a good Christian book for a 24 year old woman?

Here's a bit of background... I'm a 24 year old woman, college student, and grew up going to church. I pretty much walked away from all of it and thats where I'm at in my life right now. I'm looking for a good book for someone my age and everything either a devotional or just any good Christian book to read that might help with where I'm at. ThanksWhat Is a good Christian book for a 24 year old woman?
You might appreciate anything by Joyce Meyer - she's a pretty straight shooter...

Have you read "The Case For Christ" yet? That is the greatest book ever. It was actually written by an atheist who, through his research to disprove Christianity, ended up becoming a Christian in the process. It's a wonderful books with millions of answers for anyone with questions. I would highly recommend it.What Is a good Christian book for a 24 year old woman?
You might like 'Against the Tide' set in 17th century Scotland, where there was zero tolerance

for the Covenanters. Margaret Wilson finds her loyalty to Christ challenged by

King Charles II's demand for her absolute obedience. It shows God's grace.

Another book could be 'Legacy of Faith: From Women of the Bible to Women of Today'

which shows us how we can live by faith as the women did then. Well, those are

a couple of ideas. Hope it means you're heading home again!!
Forget Not Love: The Passion of Maximilian Kolbe.

"Forget Not Love" is the story of St. Maximilian Kolbe, the Polish Franciscan who offered to die in the place of a married man at Auschwitz, yet this book is about so much more. It creates a portrait of Kolbe as a real human being, it tells of one man's zeal for his faith and country, and it is about what love really is.What Is a good Christian book for a 24 year old woman?
I Don't Have Enough Faith To Be An Athesis-----Frank Turek

Miracle of Miracles----------Forget her name but kept me on the edge of my seat. A woman brought up in a Muslim home who became a Christian. Disowned by her parents and had a contract on her life. A great true story and haw God works
Is there a POINT you are trying to make with this retarded thread? You just looking for another chance to show everyone how "enlightened" you are? Your attempt to "talk down" to the "uncivilized" among us?
Whatever you do, don't read the bible. Most people I know who actually read their bibles end up in the fetal position in a corner crying.
"Captivating" by John and Stasi Elderage

The God Deception- had the above effect on me.
I highly recommend "By Searching" by Isobel Kuhn It is the story of a young woman's journey from doubt back into faith
"From Eternity to Here: The Quest for the Ultimate Theory of Time"

By Sean Carroll.
C.S. Lewis "Mere Christianity". It helped me understand my faith a lot more than the Bible did.
Lee Stroebel's The Case for Christ.

Max Lucado He Chose the Nails.

A good bible study! :)
